As a number of members like to use a VPS to run their software and can experience problems due to the wide variety of VPS systems on the market, each with their own setup/problems. We've investigated and found one VPS supplier which we were able to successfully run our software on without some of the issues experinced on some VPS systems. Below are details of how to get your own VPS plus steps to install the required pre-requisites.

To Signup for your own VPS

1) Go to http://www.peterdrew.net/vps

Scroll down to under the heading “Choose one of our hosting plans best suited for you”

Under VPS Hosting click the Find out more button

At 300/yr, I would stick with reseller hosting. A vps with quality management will set you back more than 25/mo., especially if it has a decent resource allocation.

What we are showing above is the VPS, not hosting.

This VPS is tried and tested using our softwares and works perfect, which is exactly why we recommend people use this one instead of the many other cheap ones out there, that certainly don't work.

There are literally 100's of different settings you can use with setting up a server to work as a VPS. Most don't work with automated softwares like us that require the latest .NET to operate.

This one does, which is why we highly recommend it.

In support, people have issues with the software on their VPS, typically these VPS has many restrictions in their default settings.
We get them to install the software on the one above and works perfectly every time.

Plus it's a great price to boot :)
